Vard's minorities band to oppose Fincantieri's delisting proposal
But numbers are stacked against them as controlling shareholder with 83% stake looks likely to take part
Singapore
A CHORUS of voices among Vard Holdings' minority shareholders has emerged to rally others to vote against the board's delisting proposal this Monday, but the numbers look stacked against them so far.
The shareholders' goal is to muster 10 per cent in total shareholding from investors to block controlling shareholder Fincantieri Oil & Gas' move to buy them out and delist the firm at the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on Monday.
