Venture Corp's Q3 profit rises 16.9% to S$47.4m
VENTURE Corporation on Friday posted 16.9 per cent rise in net profit for the third quarter to S$47.4 million, from S$40.55 million one year ago.
Revenue for the three months ended Sept 30, 2016, was up 1.8 per cent to S$705.65 million, from S$692.86 million in Q3 2015.
Earnings per share (EPS) were 17.1 Singapore cents, up from 14.7 Singapore cents one year ago.
The company did not announce any dividend for the period.
For the nine months ended Sept 30, Venture's net profit was up 16 per cent to S$126.63 million, from S$109.17 million one year ago. Revenue was up 2.9 per cent to S$2.02 billion from S$1.96 billion. EPS was 45.7 Singapore cents, up from 39.6 Singapore cents.
The company registered a profit before tax (PBT) of S$56.67 million for the third quarter, an increase of 18 per cent from S$48.04 million one year ago. For the nine months, PBT was S$150.75 million, up 17.2 per cent from S$126.64 million one year ago.
