THE Singapore Exchange (SGX) has assembled a slate of regulatory and banking veterans to oversee its regulatory unit, laying the final pieces for SGX Regulation (Regco) to begin operating as an independent unit from Friday, Sept 15.
SGX, which operates Singapore's securities exchange, on Monday named former SGX head of risk management and regulation Alan Shaw, experienced securities regulator Jane Diplock AO and Sentosa Development Corp board member Ronny Tan as the final three board members for SGX Regco.
