Vicom full-year profit up 6%

VICOM'S net profit for the year ended Dec 31, 2014, rose 6 per cent to S$30.1 million from 12 months earlier, with revenue inching up 3 per cent to S$108.2 million. No fourth quarter numbers were given.
Vicom is a unit of land transport giant ComfortDelGro. It performs vehicle inspection and testing services and as Singapore's vehicle population grew, demand for Vicom's services also increased although 2013's all-time high has since slipped 0.2 per cent to 972,037 vehicles in 2014.
