VICOM, a provider of vehicle inspection and testing services, has posted a 7.4 per cent year-on-year rise in first-quarter net profit on higher business volume.
Net profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2014, came to $8.01 million, or 9.05 cents per share, up from $7.46 million, or 8.46 cents per share, previously.
The subsidiary of land transport giant ComfortDelGro generated a 3.3 per cent first-quarter revenue rise to $26.9 million.
