Vicom's Q1 profit down 6.3% to S$6.85m
VICOM's net profit for the first quarter ended March 31 fell 6.3 per cent to S$6.85 million compared with the same period a year ago, as revenue slipped 4.9 per cent to S$24.13 million on lower business volumes.
The vehicle inspection and testing company is a unit of transport giant ComfortDelGro.
Q1 earnings per share were 7.73 cents, down from 8.25 cents in the previous corresponding quarter.
The group's net asset value per ordinary share was 176.75 cents, higher than the 169.05 cents from three months earlier.
No dividend has been declared for the current financial period.
