HONG KONG-BASED Azeus Systems Holdings has partnered with KPMG in Malaysia to introduce its electronic annual general meeting (AGM) product – ConveneAGM – to all Malaysian listed companies.
KPMG will introduce the product through its professional board advisory services, Azeus and KPMG said in a joint press statement on Monday (Apr 25).
ConveneAGM is an open platform able to accommodate virtual, physical and hybrid meeting requirements. It comes with features such as 2-way “live” Q&A (question and answer) and voting.
Azeus said it has conducted hundreds of electronic AGMs every year in Singapore, Australia and the US. In Malaysia, it has spearheaded large creditor and annual meetings for state and federal societies.
Azeus, which is listed on the Singapore Exchange’s mainboard, on Mar 15 appointed Michael Yap as its new chief executive officer (CEO). He took over from Lee Wan Lik, who stepped down from the CEO position, as well as the company's managing director, on the same day.
Shares of Azeus last traded at S$6.10 on Apr 21.
