THE Wuhan virus outbreak looks like it will throw a spanner in the works for the local hospitality industry, which was poised for recovery this year after a protracted downcycle.
Against the backdrop of a busier meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) calendar and tightening hotel room supply growth, things were finally looking up for hospitality counters.
But the outlook has gotten a lot cloudier now, with the number of confirmed cases climbing higher with each passing day.
