[NEW YORK] Wall Street’s main indexes opened muted on Tuesday (Dec 30), a day after logging their steepest one-day decline in nearly two weeks as technology stocks came under renewed selling pressure.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 27.1 points, or 0.06 per cent, at the open to 48,434.88.
The S&P 500 fell 5.3 points, or 0.08 per cent, at the open to 6,900.44, while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 8.7 points, or 0.04 per cent, to 23,465.667 at the opening bell. REUTERS
