Waning consumer electronics business hits Valuetronics

MAINBOARD-listed Valuetronics Holdings' net profit for the second quarter slipped 8.4 per cent to HK$36.3 million (S$6 million) from HK$39.6 million a year ago due to slowing demand in consumer electronics and higher staff costs.
Revenue over the period fell by 0.7 per cent to HK$627.6 million from HK$632 million.
