Weaker divestment gains hit Hyflux's 2015 profit
Singapore
WATER treatment firm Hyflux Ltd said on Thursday it remained cautious on the outlook for the water and energy market in 2016, amid falling oil prices, slower economic growth in China as well as volatility and lower liquidity in the global markets.
This comes as the group posted a 28 per cent fall in full-year net profit on weaker divestment activities. Net profit for the 12 months ended Dec 31, 2015, stood at S$41.3 million, compared with S$57.5 million a year ago.
