While others fend off the bear, the US bull run goes on

GLOBAL markets have been experiencing a respite this week following recent steep declines.
Despite the rally, equity indices remain well below their 2018 peaks. Only US and Russian stock markets are doing better, with gains of 5.7 per cent and 2.7 per cent, respectively year to date ending Oct 16.
