A creditor is seeking to wind up a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kitchen Culture Holdings.
The subsidiary, KHL Marketing Asia-Pacific (KHLM) said it received a winding-up application from Kim Hup Lee on Dec 16. The application will be heard in the High Court of Singapore on Jan 14, according to a regulatory filing by Kitchen Culture on Wednesday.
KHLM allegedly owes Kim Hup Lee outstanding rental arrears amounting to S$1.8 million for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors of 25 New Industrial Road between 2016 and 2018.
LVM Law Chambers are the lawyers for the creditors.
The group is currently seeking advice from its solicitors on the next steps to be taken, including resisting the winding-up application, and will make further announcements on any material developments as and when required, it said.
