YCH to develop supply-chain facility in Qingdao
Singapore's YCH Group yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with a Chinese state-owned steel manufacturer to develop a cutting-edge supply-chain facility in the major seaport of Qingdao in China's Shandong province.
YCH, a leading Asia-Pacific integrated logistics and end-to-end supply-chain solutions provider, will partner the Qingdao Iron & Steel Group Co Ltd (QDIS) to build the 13.3 ha facility in the Li Cang district of Qingdao, one of China's fastest-growing cities in the last decade.
The MOU comes amid Singapore's efforts to encourage companies to set up shop in Shandong province.
