Yen slips back as concerns over Turkey coup ease

THE yen sank back towards three-week lows against the US dollar on Monday as investors unwound a surge of safe-haven trades done on the back of reports of an attempted military coup in Turkey last Friday.
Turkey widened a crackdown on suspected supporters of the failed coup on Sunday, and the government said that it was in control of the country and economy.
