Yoma Strategic announces changes to board
MAINBOARD-LISTED Yoma Strategic Holdings Z59 announced on Sunday (Dec 19) that its lead independent director, Adrian Chan Pengee, will step down on Dec 31 after 9 years of service with the company to facilitate board renewal.
He will also cease to be the chairman of the company's nominating and governance committee as well as member of the remuneration committee.
Wong Su Yen, a non-executive independent director, will take his place as lead independent director from Jan 1 next year.
Additionally, Cyrus Pun Chi Yam was also redesignated as an alternative director to executive chairman Serge Pun @ Theim Wai from Jan 1 next year as well. He is Serge Pun's son, and will cease to be a non-executive, non-independent director from Dec 31.
Yoma Strategic has businesses in real estate, food and beverage, automotive and financial services, as well as investments.
Shares of Yoma Strategic closed down S$0.001 or 0.8 per cent to close at S$0.132 on Friday (Dec 17).
