MAINBOARD-LISTED YuuZoo Corporation on Wednesday evening announced it applied to the Singapore Exchange for an extension - from the April 30 deadline - to hold its annual general meeting (AGM) and lay its consolidated accounts for FY2017.

Said the company in a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Wednesday evening: "The extension application is necessary as the consolidated accounts for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2017 will not be ready in time to allow for sufficient requisite notice to shareholders of the company prior to the date of AGM."

YuuZoo said it will update shareholders on the outcome of the extension application and the date of the postponed AGM in due course.

Its shares are suspended on the Singapore Exchange.
