A MUCH-needed bright spark in Singapore's generally gloomy retail industry, retail sales in February climbed 15.8 per cent in 2015 compared to the same month last year. This takes the total value of retail sales transactions to S$3.4 billion, up from S$3 billion in February 2014.
Excluding motor vehicles, retail sales rose 14.8 per cent, according to data released by the Department of Statistics on Wednesday.
