MIDDLETON International School, part of the EtonHouse International Education Group, will open its 1,000-student Tampines campus in May 2018 after winning the tender for the site at 2 Tampines Street 92.

The tender attracted bids from other international school providers in Singapore and elsewhere, EtonHouse said.

The site, previously occupied by ITE Tampines, has an area of 291,996 square feet (sq ft) with a gross floor area of 154,208 sq ft, and consists of classrooms of varying sizes, three external hard courts and a field.

This will be Middleton's second campus; the first is located along Upper Bukit Timah Road.

The curriculum offered at the campus will be the International Primary Curriculum in the primary years - inspired by the Singapore MOE curriculum, the Cambridge IGCSE in Grades nine and 10, followed by the A levels in high school qualifications.

According to EtonHouse, the Middleton brand was launched in late 2016 to provide an affordable schooling option for expatriate families.

EtonHouse said that school fees will be S$15,000 per annum for Primary (Grades one to five), S$17,250 per annum for Secondary (Grades six to 10), and S$19,837 per annum for Grades 11 and 12, excluding Goods and Serves Tax.

EtonHouse executive director Ng Yi Xian said that due to the "overwhelming response" to its first MIS (Middleton) campus, the Tampines school would help the school expand to meet the "strong demand for good quality and affordable international education in Singapore".
