Ikea under EC scrutiny over tax underpayment claim

THE European Commission on Saturday pledged to study a report claiming that Swedish furniture giant Ikea may have underpaid taxes by one billion euros (S$1.6 billion) between 2009 and 2014 due to aggressive tax strategies.
