Malaysia: Shares end higher on Wednesday

MALAYSIAN stocks closed higher on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 1.64 points to 1,688.77. Volume was 2.08 billion lots worth RM2.03 billion. Losers outnumbered gainers by 556 to 261 .
