FOOD and shopping are national obsessions in Singapore, but when it comes to the jobs that keep these industries going, few people will willingly sign up.
Such is the conundrum that plagues Singapore's restaurant and retail sectors, say industry watchers, and recently announced moves such as the SkillsFuture scheme will go some way in unravelling this.
