GET ready to hear a lot more "yi, er, san, cheese!" on your travels. The number of tourists from developing countries in Asia - already outstripping those from developed Asia by a three-to-two ratio - is set to grow at more than twice the rate of those from developed Asia over the next five years.

Outbound trips from developing Asia will rise 7.6 per cent on average each year till 2021; the figure is 3.3 per cent for developed Asia, said a report from Mastercard.
