BP IS on track to sanction by mid-year its US$12 billion Tangguh Train 3 expansion in Indonesia's West Papua province, with bids for two key contracts coming within its project estimates.
Oilfield services providers in Singapore will be eyeing subcontracts linked to the onshore construction of Tangguh Train 3 and the offshore package for the associated gas field development that are due for awards soon. The imminent awards of these two contracts also imply a third tender for a multi-year offshore drilling contract that has drawn a bid from a listed company here will progress according to schedule.
