[LONDON] BP said on Monday that its three refineries in the United States were operating normally after a 24-hour contract extension as worker unions took to picket lines in other companies' plants.
BP's plants in Whiting, Indiana, Toledo, Ohio, and Cherry Point, Washington, were not among nine refineries and chemical plants that went on strike on Sunday.
