Civil society also 'critical' in fight against haze: Masagos

    THE civil society has a key role to play in the fight against the smoky haze that chokes this region from time to time, said Minister for the Environment and Water Resources Masagos Zulkifli on Friday.

    It can help ensure that consumers are informed and boost support for sustainably-sourced products, and can also play a critical role in ensuring that companies are transparent and accountable in their supply chains, he said.
