Copper trades at two-week low as China brokers take short bets

COPPER traded near the lowest in two weeks as Shanghai brokers switched to bets on price declines and the dollar traded near the highest in three months. Metals fell.
The contract for three-month delivery lost 0.2 per cent to US$5,471.50 a tonne by 1.14pm in Shanghai. The price in London fell to US$5,429 on Monday, the lowest since July 8.
