SINGAPORE could partner the International Energy Agency to host regular training sessions to develop capabilities in areas such as low carbon technologies and energy efficiency in the region, Minister for Trade and Industry (Industry) S Iswaran said on Monday.
Speaking at an IEA event in Paris, he said that Singapore supports plans by IEA - an energy watchdog for the OECD nations formed in the wake of the 1973 Arab oil embargo - to engage emerging economies, including those in Asia.
