Singapore Power, EDB launch S$30m centre for power innovation

UTILITIES company Singapore Power (SP) has launched the Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Energy Development and Piloting, which will create and commercialise next-generation energy network technologies for use in Singapore.
The CoE, which is also supported by the Economic Development Board (EDB), is working with an initial investment of S$30 million. A team of 20 research engineers at the centre will spearhead efforts to develop, test and integrate new technologies in the nation's infrastructure networks.
