A Singapore-based non-profit led by female businesswomen raised S$50,000 for Nepal's impoverished at its annual gala dinner last week.
The money will fund Operation Hope Foundation's efforts to build rice-bag homes and provide skills training to families in Nepal, according to the non-profit, Crib. Every S$6,500 raised can provide a family with a new rice-bag home.
