Real estate player CBRE acquires sustainability advisory Paia
Paia has worked with over 100 Singapore-listed companies
CBRE Group, a provider of commercial real estate services, on Thursday (Aug 1) acquired Singapore-based sustainability advisory Paia Consulting.
Founded in 2002, Paia provides clients with sustainability strategy, implementation and reporting services in Singapore and the rest of South-east Asia. It has worked with over 100 Singapore-listed companies.
Following the acquisition, Paia will integrate with CBRE’s existing environmental, social and governance (ESG) consulting and sustainability services team in Singapore. This team serves as the Asia-Pacific hub for CBRE’s sustainability services.
Carrie Johnson, the founder of Paia, will serve as lead consultant at CBRE, while Paia’s managing director Corrado Forcellati has been appointed director of client sustainability strategy and solutions.
CBRE is focused on expanding its range of services to help clients navigate complexities in the business environment, said Moray Armstrong, managing director of CBRE Singapore.
“With the introduction of Paia’s capabilities, CBRE will be at the forefront of ESG advisory in Singapore and across Asia-Pacific. Our professionals will be partnering clients on reporting, training, compliance, benchmarking, developing, and executing ESG plans,” he added.
