Singapore companies may be falling behind on green skills development

CORPORATE executives in Singapore need no convincing that employees should have green skills, but a recent survey suggested they are not ready to provide the necessary training and development.
Industry watchers said some of this inadequacy could be attributed to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) lacking the necessary support structure.
Singapore may also lack the necessary ecosystem and talent, they said, with green energy skills being one highlighted area of shortage.
