Standard Chartered Bank hosts students from Awwa School

    STANDARD Chartered Bank hosted 6 students from Awwa School @ Napiri on Wednesday (Sep 21), in support of SG Enable’s Job Shadowing Day.

    The students, aged 15-16, were at the bank’s newly revamped flagship branch at Six Battery Road, and were introduced to the various job roles in the financial institution, such as that of a sales and services manager.

    The school was one of the 14 participating Special Education (SPED) schools this year, and Tan Eng Tat, director of Employment & Employability, SG Enable, said: “Our annual Job Shadowing Day is an important opportunity for SPED school students to understand and experience the concept of employment and what working life entails, beyond the textbook and school curriculum.”
