Mutual funds net buyers of S'pore plays in Nov-Feb

MUTUAL funds were net buyers of Singapore stocks for the three months to Feb 18. Based on transactions in the top five stocks, net buys totalled about S$1.51 billion, compared to net sells of about S$1.05 billion.
This week we look at the consumer goods sector. Here, there were S$252.4 million of net sells, based on the top five stocks in play, compared to net buys of S$93.9 million. Among the sells, the top stock was Olam International with a sell volume of S$200 million. The top stock among the buys was Thai Beverage Public Co, with a volume of S$81 million.
