Net buys notch up S$1.9b

GLOBAL mutual funds were net buyers of Singapore stocks in the three months to Nov 19. Based on net buys of the top five stocks in terms of volume, there were net buys of about S$1.9 billion compared to net sells of S$733.4 million.

This week, we look into transactions in the consumer goods sector where net buys of the top five stocks of S$335.2 million also outweighed sells of S$63.4 million. Among buys, the top stock was Thai Beverage Public Company which saw a volume of S$298.1 million.
