Fears over HK's financial centre future overblown

HONG Kong has endured a rough ride over the last two years or so.
After social unrest engulfed the city from mid-2019, the city confronted a controversial national security law imposed by Beijing in June last year amid the coronavirus pandemic that caused severe economic damage.
The combined effect stoked fears of a capital flight and international companies de-camping from Asia's leading international financial centre.
