12 persons appointed to the board of Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore
THE Minister for Transport and Second Minister for Defence, Lui Tuck Yew, has appointed 12 persons to the board of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) for a period of three years, with effect from July 1, 2015. They are:
Chairman:
* Lee Hsien Yang, special adviser, General Atlantic; chairman, General Atlantic Singapore Fund
Members:
* Joanne Cham, assistant secretary-general, National Trades Union Congress
* Chong Tow Chong, provost, Singapore University of Technology & Design
* Han Kok Juan, senior director (housing), Ministry of National Development
* MG Hoo Cher Mou, chief of Air Force, Ministry of Defence
* Wee Chow Hou, professor of strategy and marketing, Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University
* Yap Ong Heng, director-general, CAAS
* Mary Yeo, vice president (supply chain operations, South Asia Pacific), UPS Asia Group Pte Ltd
* Khoo Chin Hean, retired
* Lim Yeow Khee, managing director, LYK Aerospace (S) Pte Ltd
* Zulkifli Baharudin, chairman, ITL Corporation
* Lee Boon Ngiap, assistant managing director (capital markets), Monetary Authority of Singapore
Outgoing members (July 1, 2015):
* Goh Joon Seng, consultant, Lee & Lee
* Yee Ping Yi, deputy secretary (policy), Ministry of Finance
The terms of appointment of Mr Khoo Chin Hean and Mr Lim Yeow Khee will be until June 30, 2017, and those of Mr Zulkifli Baharudin and Mr Lee Boon Ngiap will be until June 30, 2016. The other members are newly appointed.
