IN a move anticipated by the food and beverage (F&B) industry, Singapore will allow up to 5 people from the same household to dine out together from Wednesday (Nov 10), up from the current limit of 2.
Even so, it was the decision to allow "soft recorded music" again that came as "a pleasant surprise" for F&B operators, with 1-Group managing director Joseph Ong telling The Business Times that "I hope this is the beginning of the reopening we were hoping for" when comparing with the faster pace of Covid-19 reopenings abroad.
