A National Day Parade that promotes social inclusivity
Singapore
SINGAPORE'S 51st birthday celebrations dived into a world of the magical and mythical on Tuesday evening, as the National Day Parade (NDP) returned to the National Stadium in Kallang for the first time in a decade.
The enclosed arena and domed roof of the Sports Hub - which is hosting its inaugural NDP - allowed for more aerial performances, such as floating structures evoking a futuristic "sky city", and spinning, soaring dancers as they retold the story of Malay legendary folk hero Badang.
