Another US warship collision in Asian waters

    US Navy destroyer USS John S McCain with damage to its port side, seen off Changi Naval Base at around 1.30 pm on Monday. It had collided with oil tanker Alnic MC early on Monday morning. Ten Navy sailors are missing and five injured. On June 17, the USS Fitzgerald almost sank off the coast of Japan after it was struck by a Philippine container ship. The bodies of seven sailors were found in a flooded berthing area.
