Asean CEOs more confident than others of revenue growth in 2016: survey

Even as chief executive officers (CEOs) around the world expressed increased pessimism about the global economy's growth, those based in South-east Asia were more upbeat about revenue growth in the next 12 months as stronger regional trade linkages form, a survey has found.
Thirty-eight per cent of these Asean CEOs were "very confident" of seeing short-term revenue growth. The global average was 35 per cent, noted the survey.
