[SYDNEY] Australian central bank governor Philip Lowe said on Thursday further cut in interest rates was possible, depending on a number of factors.
The Reserve Bank of Australia already cut rates in May and August, taking its cash rate to a record low of 1.5 per cent to help stoke inflation and restrain a rising currency.
Newly appointed Lowe was speaking before a parliamentary economics committee.
