AUSTRIAN high-performance sensor solutions supplier ams AG on Wednesday officially opened the new manufacturing facility of Heptagon Micro Optics Pte Ltd, a member of the ams group, in Singapore.
Heptagon's S$500 million investment in the new 300,000-square-foot Ang Mo Kio facility and equipment over two years constitutes the largest investment in the precision engineering industry here over the last decade. This expansion will help ams meet the growing demand for advanced sensor solutions that are used in sophisticated mobile applications.
