BCA names new chief executive
HUGH Lim, Deputy Secretary (Community, Youth and Sports) at the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, will take over from John Keung as the chief executive officer of the Building and Construction Authority (BCA).
The BCA and the Ministry of National Development said on Monday that Mr Keung will relinquish his post of CEO on June 1, 2017, and will be appointed as the dean of BCA Academy.
Mr Lim will be appointed as BCA's CEO-designate on April 1 before assuming duties as CEO on June 1, 2017.
He was previously with the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and the Ministry of Law (MinLaw). His contributions include setting up the Army's Capability Development Hub in the SAF as well as developing the masterplan to establish Singapore as a global intellectual property hub while in MinLaw.
