BlackRock CEO flags danger of search for yield

THE low-interest rate environment created by central bankers is forcing investors to take risks that could threaten the financial system, said BlackRock Inc CEO Laurence Fink.
"This increasingly desperate search for yield is now the great source of prudential risk in the financial system - and one that central bankers and regulator ignore at our collective peril," he wrote in a letter to shareholders in BlackRock's 2014 annual report.
