Bomb scare at KL Bursa triggers evacuation

A bomb scare at Bursa Malaysia on Friday failed to disrupt trading, though employees had to evacuate the building so that the police could conduct a sweep of the premises.
Late afternoon selling of blue chips - including those of exchange operator Bursa, which shed 2.3 per cent - led to the benchmark FBMKLCI losing 17 points or 1 per cent.
Equity investors, however, were unlikely to have been spooked by the threat.
