Businesses offload stock, fear loss of crucial manpower

BUSINESSES previously allowed to stay open during the "circuit breaker" period spent Wednesday scrambling to meet tightened measures that now require them to shutter or modify operations until at least May 4.

Excess stock and potential loss of crucial manpower amid the uncertainty were the main concerns for food and beverage (F&B) companies, while some are exploring alternative channels to continue doing business.
