Cabinet members persuaded late LKY not to demolish house

CABINET members were unanimous in persuading the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew that his house at 38 Oxley Road should not be demolished, said Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat.
He said that during a Cabinet meeting in July 2011, Mr Lee had attended the meeting to set out his views on 38 Oxley Road, which was the preference for the house to be demolished after his passing.
