[BEIJING] China's implied oil demand in the first two months of the year grew 4% over a year earlier to about 10.37 million barrels per day (bpd), according to Reuters' calculations based on preliminary official data.

Implied oil demand adds national refinery crude throughput to net imports of refined fuel but excludes changes in fuel inventories.
