China's June trade softens amid stalemate over tariff talks with Washington

CHINA'S exports declined and imports continued to contract in June, after another round of tariffs was implemented by the US in May, impacting global growth and domestic demand.

China's export growth turned negative in June, falling from 1.1 per cent year-on-year in May to -1.3 per cent in US dollar terms.
